Barrington House – an incredibly special place
The Highest Standards
We bought Barrington House in 2004 and spent 4 years lovingly restoring and modernizing the house and turning it from a traditional B&B into a beautiful contemporary home with an exciting self-catering business.
Our vision throughout the project was to strive for the highest standards, pay attention to every detail and to develop a house and business we are proud of.
We have drawn on our experiences of living and holidaying in Asia for 10 years where customer service is second to none, accommodation is truly luxurious and where holidaying with children is made easy.

Our dream has finally come true and here at last, in beautiful Dartmouth, are three glamorous, sophisticated and luxurious self-catering properties where every comfort has been considered – Barrington House, The Penthouse and The Glasshouse.
Perfect for couples seeking to escape, friends wanting to have fun, families longing for a relaxing holiday with children, families and friends wanting to celebrate special occasions together.
High Levels of Service
We strive to be all things to all people and hope we have thought of everything from the baby bath for the youngest guests, buckets and crab lines for the older kids and Nespresso machines for the adults.
We have also added a level of service often not associated with self-catering holidays – whether it be suggesting a top restaurant, co-ordinating a private chef or arranging a sailing course, we will go out of our way to ensure your holiday is enjoyable and memorable.
A Special Place
Barrington House sleeps 12 people plus 2 little ones and is the perfect house for special occasions, celebrations and family gatherings. There are not many houses where 3 generations can come together under one roof and celebrate in style and relax in such beautiful surroundings.
We’d like to think you will come back again and again! We are now entering our ninth year of business and business has been booming.
We could not be happier with the feedback we have received from all our lovely guests. We feel that we are exceeding people’s expectations and providing a dream holiday destination where memories are made.
